| Ok.. I think it's time for me to update my xanga. I know I haven't done this in ages.. but, I've been so busy! I had been working my ass off and getting A's in everything until last week.. when I got a "B" from a Chemistry exam.  Um.. I guess I sound like a nerd..hehe.. well.. I've sort of have been acting like one these past few weeks. I've been sleep deprived because I've been staying up til 4 or 5 am doing homework or doing all-nighters for a test. I know.. I know.. sleeping that late is bad for me.. everyone's been telling me that.. I'll try to sleep earlier...
Anyways, besides work.. I've been joining lots of clubs.. name any culture club..and I think I'm in it..hehe.. and, I'm in a dance for SOC.. we're dancing to "Pump it up!".. also, I'm in badminton intramurals. Yeah.. I guess I've been keeping myself busy.
Oh.. and, last weekend...I went on a camping trip. It was the first time I'd gone camping.. and, surprisingly, it was a lot of fun! I went with Thai club.. and it was seriously a fun bonding experience. We played waterballoon volleyball.. hehe.. I'd never heard about it before this trip.. it's basically about tossing a waterballoon around with towels.. sounds simple.. but, it required a lot of hand-eye coordination.
And this weekend was a 3 day weekend because of Columbus day. Friday.. I did a HUGE favor for Jovita...she really owes me for what I did.. hehe.. this is a reminder! That night, I met up with a couple Indo friends and went to a club called 33. It was a pretty fun night.. but, I think I've gotten a bit rusty..hehe.. hadn't gone clubbing in ages before that night! Saturday.. I watched the baseball game at my brother's friend's place. That's the first baseball game that I've watched... it's a pretty exciting sport to watch.. well.. I guess it's probably because I'm getting influenced by all the Boston pride over here..so, I root for the Red Sox!
Yesterday, I went shopping at a shopping outlet place called Wrentham. It's such a huge place! I didn't have enough time to go to all the shops, cause my brother and his friends wanted to be back to watch the baseball game.. which ended up getting cancelled because of the rain.. I think I'll go back to Wrentham next week.. I still need to buy more stuff before winter comes! I seriously don't want to freeze to death!
Hmm.. that's about it... I guess my life is kind of systematic.. weekdays I'm at Tufts doing work or activities all the time... and on the weekends I'm away from Tufts..doing whatever.. It's nice to get away from Tufts every weekend.. I guess I'm still not used to living in a suburban area.. | | |
| Well.. the countdown has begun.. there's only 3 more days left before I leave Jakarta.
I haven't been doing much lately.. just the usual stuff, like, last minute shopping, hanging out with friends, clubbing, etc..
Anyways, I don't really feel like babbling on and on.. cause, there isn't really much to say except that one by one people are leaving, and soon it will be my turn.
Oh.. and, here's a picture of me, Jovita and Olivia.. we were just fooling around in a photo box.. it was totally a lot of fun! Haha.. yeah yeah..I know.. cheap thrills..

| Stupid bomb! I'm back to being trapped at home again.. not allowed to go to the mall, don't think that I'll even try to ask my mom if I can go clubbing. I'm bored as hell at home!!! Well, I've been occupying my time by playing computer games and cleaning out my closet. It's hard to believe that there's only 2 weeks left before I'm headed off to Boston. I can hardly wait!  (But, then again... going to Boston would mean starting work again.. I still enjoy this relaxation!)

| Well..I'm back from my cruise in Europe.. using my cousin's computer in Hong Kong right now. It's nice to finally go online again.. except that his computer is filled with Chinese writing that I don't understand.. hmmm.. I really think I should start taking Chinese lessons again.. I keep having to ask him over to tell me which button to click.
The cruise was pretty fun.. but, the land tours were really tiring.. especially with the heat. There were lots of activities on the cruise.. but, my mom put me on a leash. Every where she went.. I had to follow. I think it's probably cause I'll be leaving her in about a month. Well.. there is an upside to being with her... lots of shopping and got to drink alcohol on the cruise (they only serve to people who are 21 and over.. so, I'm with my mom.. she orders drinks.. and I get to drink it No hard liquer though.. only some cocktails). But... the extra bonding time will make it harder to leave her in September...
Anyways, I'll be back in Jakarta on Sunday... looking very tan and bringing home lots of new stuff!  On the down side.. I think I gained weight.. all the good food on the cruise was irresistable... I don't think I should go on cruises very often.. or else... Major dieting needed!!! | | |
| IB results are finally out.. and.. the 2 years of torture is FINALLY OVER!!! I don't want to talk about my results though… they're pretty disappointing… but, I'm glad to have it over with! Plus, I still get the same amount of university credit that I would've gotten even if I did better.
Actually, I'm still a bit nervous, cause, I still need to wait for my AP results… they're sending it here by mail, so, I doubt it'll reach here any time soon. I learnt never to depend on the Indonesian mail delivery.. I get nothing on time… and, some of the documents from Tufts doesn't even reach me at all! So, have to depend on DHL.. it's expensive, but, oh well.. at least I get everything!
Other than that, nothing much has happened.. as you can see.. I lead a boring life.. I get nervous over typing in my IB number and PIN code, and then experience an immediate feeling of disappointment.
Even a night that should've been fun turned out bad. A couple of us went to Embassy on Saturday for a farewell party. Usually Embassy is loads of fun.. we chill at our table, do whatever, go on the dance floor.. but, they closed the top floor (where we usually hang out), and the bottom floor was so crowded! When we tried to dance, we couldn't.. the whole floor was totally packed.. we could hardly even move, and when we moved, it was mostly because of the force of the people around us pushing and shoving to get some space! All we could do was sit at our tables, but, even then, wasted people right beside us would be shaking their asses right in our face. Well.. we left early, there's no need to stay in a place when you're not enjoying it at all! I think I'm only going to go back there when they open up the top floor.. or else, it's gonna suck!
